Terms of Service
These Terms describe the rules for using Cloud Player, an Android TV and Google TV app for browsing and playing a user’s own Google Drive media.
Agreement
By installing, accessing, or using Cloud Player, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Service Description
Cloud Player helps users sign in with Google, browse supported media files stored in their own Google Drive, and play those files on Android TV or Google TV devices.
The app is a media playback tool. It does not provide cloud storage, file hosting, content ownership, or backup services.
Google Services
Cloud Player uses Google OAuth and Google Drive API features. Your use of Google services remains subject to Google’s own terms, policies, account settings, quotas, and availability.
You are responsible for the Google account you connect and for ensuring that you have the right to access and play the files in that account.
Google Drive Access
Cloud Player requests read-only Google Drive access so it can list folders, show media metadata, and stream selected files. The app does not request permission to edit, upload, delete, rename, or share Google Drive files.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Cloud Player to:
- Access content that you do not own or are not authorized to use.
- Violate copyright, privacy, security, or other applicable laws.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or misuse the app or backend services.
- Share authentication tokens, pairing codes, or account access with unauthorized users.
Subscriptions and Purchases
If Cloud Player offers paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases, billing and cancellation may be handled through the app store or platform provider. Pricing, renewal, refund, and cancellation rules are controlled by the applicable store terms unless otherwise stated in the app.
Availability and Changes
We may update, modify, pause, or discontinue parts of Cloud Player at any time. Features may depend on Google APIs, device capabilities, network quality, account permissions, or app store requirements.
Disclaimer
Cloud Player is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every media file, or available on every device.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Cloud Player developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, account access, or business opportunities arising from use of the app.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when the app, legal requirements, or operating practices change. Continued use of Cloud Player after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
Contact
For questions about these Terms, contact the Cloud Player developer through the support contact listed in the app store or OAuth consent screen.
